ABX and ICA Team Up for a Special Program for K-12 Students!
Thanks to generous funding from the Linda Brandes Foundation, ABX and the Institute of Contemporary Art San Diego (ICA) worked together this school year to connect 687 K-12 students to in-depth tours of the galleries and a hands-on project led by a Teaching Artist at either the Balboa Park or Encinitas ICA location.
Dedicated partnerships like this one with the Linda Brandes Foundation, ICA and ABX strategically links young people to the innovators and creators on our county.
Third and fourth grade Title I students visit ICA San Diego Central - Balboa Park to experience ICA's Explore + Make Program.
ABX Helps Send Students to Living Coast Discovery Center
First grade students from Silver Strand Elementary had this to say about Living Coast Discovery Center:

Field trip study links San Diego students to possibilities. But the high cost of bus transportation often hinders these learning excursions. Need has surpassed our current funding. We have already booked over 6,000 students for field trip transportation.
