Enriching Student Learning One Field Trip at a Time, With or Without the Bus!

13,000 Students Served !

Whew!

ABX had a bumper school year! With the support of our fabulous donors, combined with other funders, we connected nearly 13,000 K-12 public and charter school students to exciting field trip experiences throughout the county!

Here is the 2022-2023 breakdown:

· ABX funded students attending 97 different schools in 24 separate districts.
· 6,296 students attended a field trip for the first time.
· Students visited 36 different venues on 171 buses.
· 86% of participating students were low-income (Title1).
· ABX awarded $128,298.42 to teachers throughout the county.

ROUND AND ROUND!

Help ABX keep the bus wheels turning! The average cost per bus in Fy2020 was $272.48. In the last six months of the Fy2022-23 school year, the average cost per bus rose to $550.22. A 102% cost increase adds an additional of $55,548 to ABX’s annual operational expenses.

She brought all of the supplies and the students got to take home a beautiful canvas to share with their families. Before they took it home, they got to display it for our evening of the arts.
